About BioShock Series

The BioShock series is a video game franchise created by Ken Levine who belongs to Irrational Games studios and was first launched in the gaming industry on May 21, 2007. The first game in the series is published by 2K Games and is developed by 2K Boston and 2K Australia.

The main series consists of three action-adventure, first-person shooter video games. Apart from the three games, there have been more than a half dozen secondary games, two novels, and a shelved film adaptation.

The next thing that the franchise is going to take up is an upcoming fourth game that is going to be titled BioShock 4. The games in the series can be played in single mode and it supports a majority of the gaming consoles and platforms, that you can play it on.

If we discuss anything about the BioShock series, one thing can be firmly said that it stood out in large part due to its pleasant man-made locations.

When the rumors regarding the BioShock 4 release date were floating back in 2019, 2K games made it clear that the next BioShock (the recent BioShock that we are talking about) will be “in development for the next several years,” and we’ll have to wait a little longer before its launch.

Although official details are very few till now, we’re hoping 2024 will be the year when we learn more about games arrival and what we can expect from the next installment in the BioShock franchise.

BioShock 4 for PlayStation

In the case of PlayStation, it is expected that BioShock 4 will be available for PlayStation 5 whenever it hits the market in the upcoming time. Though as the game has not been released yet, no surety can be given right now.
