When is Roblox PS4 Release Date?

As of now, nothing has been confirmed on its release date. However, we can’t wait for the launch of the release date of Roblox PS4. 

Is Roblox Shutting Down?

The rumors began after reports appeared on the internet containing the following message:

“Because of the population, the Roblox servers will shut down on May 22. It was a fun time, but we make less money now and we can’t hold the servers. We don’t have the money to keep them up.”

This message was widely shared and trended online, especially on Twitter which created panic among the gamers and lovers of the game.

Much like in the Minecraft story, this rumor started out on a prank site (React2424 in this case) which creates anxiety among people with fake headlines.

Roblox is going stronger than ever – although it might not have the mainstream name recognition of its rival Minecraft. Roblox surpassed it last May, attracting 100 million players each month.

Unlike most of its competitors, Roblox allows creators to make money off of the things they build by selling game passes. In 2017, Roblox creators reportedly received some way over £20 million in payouts.

In 2018, that number was thought to be up around £50 million. According to one of the biggest news platforms, Roblox Corporation was worth jumped to £2 billion in May 2019.

If it’s true then shutting down the game will be very tough for the makers & publishers of this game. The idea that it somehow became “too popular” to be sustained just doesn’t really make a lot of sense.
