Genshin Impact Crystal Tears Quest

Crystal Tears is a sub-quest under the Monstadt Act II Archon quest in Genshin Impact. It is the main quest after you have collected 3 stormterror’s tears. The tears are used to repair a harp that is destroyed but the storm terror. When I got the tears, it was corrupted. It only can purify by the main character, thus it is our mission to collect all these 3 corrupted tears and purify it.

Before we moved into how to complete the crystal tears quest. Let’s talk about how you gather the 3 tears first. After you steal the holy lyre from the cathedral, you will then need to use purified tears to repair the holy lyre. There are totals of 3 quests available before collecting the tears.

Location: Thousand Wind Temple

• Defeat the ruined guard to have the tear

Location: Daduapa Gorge

• Defeat all the enemies outside the camp then you can obtain the tear

Location: Ruins of The Wood

• You will see a quest named “ Hidden Teardrop in the Heart of the Jungle”, complete the ruin and when reach the end you will receive a tear.

Do note that all of the tears can be farmed in any way, meaning that there is no certain order. You can start from any location in gathering the tears.

Steps to complete Crystal Tears Quest

After gathering the tears, you can follow the guide below to complete the crystal tears quest.

• First, open your map, and navigate the quest.
• Then it will bring you to a place called Dawn Winery.
• Follow the navigation and you will see Diluc, venti, and jean waiting outside the tavern.
• Interact with them, then it will move to a scene where you purify the 3 tears.
• After the scene, you will need to repair the holy lyre with those purified tears.
• To repair the lyre, all you have to do is click on the 3 tears, and then drag them down to the lyre.
